Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Female patients undergoing total abdominal hysterectomy ASA grade 1 and 2 Surgery AGE BETWEEN 30-60 YRS

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Allergic to Gabapentin patients with chronic backpain and spinal deformities Patients who were recieving any analgesic 24 hr before surgery patients suffering from epilepsy,liver disease,renal disease

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare between groups the effectiveness of post operative analgesia.Timepoint: The pain will be assessed postoperatively using VAS score at 0, 2, 4, 8, 12 and 24 h. The time at which patients complained of pain will be taken as zero hour .

To compare the post operative opioid consumption To compare the duration of the hospital stay Timepoint: The pain will be assessed postoperatively using VAS score at 0, 2, 4, 8, 12 and 24 h. The time at which patients complained of pain will be taken as zero hour .
