Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients of American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I or II either sex aged between 18 and 65 years undergoing emergency laparotomy will be recruited in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients or relativeâ??s refusal to consent for study 2. History of previous exploratory laparotomy in the current hospitalization period 3. History of ICU stay in last 6months 4. Pre-existing significant cardiac, renal and hepatic diseases 5. Intraoperative massive blood loss or massive transfusion
