Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. CSHCN between 6 – 12 years of age, enrolled with the Board of Education Office (BEO), Mangaluru taluk 2. CSHCN reporting to the NSPECC centre with their primary caregivers. 3. CSHCN reporting to the special centre campsites with their primary caregivers. 4. CSHCN whose primary caregivers give consent to record and conduct the interview

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. CSHCN reporting from other taluks (Sullia, Puthur, Belthangady, and Bantwal) for treatment and coverage under the NSPECC program. 2. CSHCN who are not enrolled into the registry of the BEO in Mangaluru taluk. 3. CSHCN failing to report to the interview site with their primary caregivers will also be excluded from participation in this study. 4. Participants failing to comply with at least 3 of the reinforcement sessions during the follow-up period.

Unmet Oral Healthcare needs – done through clinical examination and assessment of the number of dental treatments needed in the 6 – 12-year-old CSHCN recruited into the studyTimepoint: 1. At the time of recruitment (baseline/T0) and 2. After the follow-up period of 6 months, at the recall visit (T1).
