Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age group of less than 28 days pre term /term of either sex posted for emergency non cardiac surgeries requiring general anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Hemodynamically unstable neonates Neonates presenting with congenital diaphragmatic hernia, pneumonia, lung malformation Neonates with prenatal diagnosis of congenital heart diseases

Assessing the feasibility of using pre and post ductal pulse oximeter as screening tool in detecting congenital cardiac anomalies in neonates for emergency non cardiac surgeriesTimepoint: Saturation will be measured preoperatively and 2D echo will be done preoperatively
