Interventions

Intervention1: G-CSF injection: Patients resistant to EPO therapy will be recruited. Combination therapy of ESA plus G-CSF will be given as below. A)Epoetin alfa 20-50 units/kg s.c injection thrice

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: CKD-on Hemodialysis, receiving ESA at least 4 weeks with 1)baseline HB 2)no increase in Hb or increase Hb 3)age >18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Pregnancy 2) Patient not willing to give consent for the study 3) Known allergy to G-CSF 4) Age 70 years 5) Thrombocytopenia 6) Sepsis
