Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ï?¶ Residual urine volume 10- 50% ï?¶ B.P.H. confirmed by USG. ï?¶ The cases with features mentioned in International prostate symptoms scoring namely - Frequency of urination, Intermittency of urination Urgency Straining Weak stream of urine Nocturia Incomplete emptying of bladder

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ï?¶ Cases of B.P.H. where surgery is indicated. ï?¶ CA Prostate diagnosed on PSA level. ï?¶ Neurological disease of urinary system. ï?¶ Known case of Stricture Urethra. ï?¶ Infective conditions of either urinary tract or prostate. ï?¶ Detected DM since 2 to 3 years back patients with uncontrolled diabetes. ï?¶ Known case of renal failure.

To study and compare the efficacy of ikshumool ghanavati 1 gm for 1 month and tablet himplasia for 1 month in the symptomatic management of vatashtheelaTimepoint: Relief in symptoms 1. Frequency of urination, 2. Intermittency of urination, 3.Urgency, 4.Straining, 5.Weak stream of urine, 6.Nocturia, 7.Incomplete emptying of bladder will be observed on 0th, 15th ,30th day.
