Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA 1 to 3 patients admitted for elective femur and hip fracture surgeries under spinal anesthesia 2. BMI - 18.5 to 25kg/m2 3. Age 18 to 75 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Asa 4 and above. 2.Patients not willing for the study. 3.Allergy to local anesthetics. 4.Coagulation abnormalities

Duration of post operative analgesia.Timepoint: Time from the completion of block to the first requirement of rescue analgesic.(VAS more than 3).
