Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Pregnant women diagnosed to have GDM between 24-28 weeks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Overt diabetes mellitus GDM diagnosed after 28 weeks 2.Any factor increasing the risk of preterm labor 3.Hemodynamically significant heart disease Restrictive lung disease 4.Incompetent cervix/cerclage 5.Multiple gestation at risk for premature labor 6.Persistent second or third trimester bleeding 7.Placenta praevia after 26 weeks gestation • Ruptured membranes • Pregnancy induced hypertension • Non compliant to exercise protocol • Non compliant to diet
