Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA I and II patients Surgeries like laparoscopic cholecystectomy and appendicectomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who are allergic to study drug. patients on antipsychiatric medications,sedatives,opioids and antidepressants. BMI >30kg/m2

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Haemodynamic response to intraperitoneal gas insufflation. Timepoint: Till 15 minutes intraoperative post insufflation period.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.Total number of patients requiring supplemental analgesia. 2.Time of requirement of first rescue analgesia in each group. 3)Total opioid requirement in 24hours postoperative period.Timepoint: Till 24 hours in the postoperative period.
