Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Native Malayalam speakers 2)Aged 18 years to 80 years 3)Diagnosis of stroke 4)Onset of stroke at least three months prior to study 5)Diagnosis of aphasia, as confirmed by a trained speech and language therapist (based on Western Aphasia Battery (Malayalam Version) 6)Verbal aphasics with deficits in phonology 7)Handedness â?? Right

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Persons with poor visual and hearing acuity even after the use of corrective methods/assistive devices.

The cue distribution (percentage of cues used) and percentage of success among each participant depending on the type and severity of aphasia the individual have.Timepoint: 2
