Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Group 1: 1. All functional pheochromocytoma and Paraganglioma patients scheduled for tumour removal. 2. Patients consenting for study. 3. Age group between 18 to 70 years. Group 2: 1. Controlled essential hypertension patients scheduled for any elective surgery. 2. Patients consenting for study. 3. Age group between 18 to 70 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Group1: 1. Normotensive pheochromocytoma patients. 2. Normotensive or hypertensive patients in whom functional status of adrenal tumour is ambiguous. 3. Patients with obesity. 4. Tricuspid regurgitation. 5. Cardiomyopathy with EF less than 40%. 6. Right sided heart disease. 7. Portal hypertension. 8. Obstructive lung disease. Group 2: 1. Patient with obesity. 2. Tricuspid regurgitation. 3. Cardiomyopathy with EF less than 40%. 4. Right sided heart disease. 5. Portal hypertension. 6. Obstructive lung disease. 7. Patients with restricted fluid intake due to any reason( CKD,SIADH).
