Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects aged between 40-70 years of either sex Willing to sign informed consent documents and follow study procedures. Participants fulfilling the American College of Rheumatology classification criteria for Osteo Arthrosis( OA )of the major lower limb weight bearing joints , with pain affecting the knee on most days of the past month and radiological changes (osteophytes and joint space narrowing) indicative of Osteo Arthrosis. This joint was x-rayed and graded by a single experienced radiologist according to the Kellgren-Lawrence scale (0â??4). Required entry criteria were pain in the knee region for more than 3 months with pain rated >=30 mm in the last week on 100 mm visual analogue scale (VAS).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with serious systemic medical disorders Subjects with infective arthritis Pregnant and lactating women Patients on anti-coagulants Patients with uncontrolled diabetes
