Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Arterial to end tidal carbon dioxide gradient measurement between pressure versus volume controlled ventilationTimepoint: 1.Baseline in room air (T0) 2. 10 minutes after pnuemoperitoneum (T1) 3. 2 h after surgery (T2) 4. 2 hrly during surgery (T3, T4) 5. 10 mins after deflation of pnuemoperitoneum (Te)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Alveolar to arterial gradient (A-a)DO2 2.Peak airway pressure 3. Dynamic Compliance C dyn 4. P/F ratioTimepoint: Baseline in room air (T0) 10 minutes after pnuemoperitoneum (T1) 2 h after surgery (T2) 2 hrly during surgery (T3, T4) 10 mins after deflation of pnuemoperitoneum (Te)
