Intervention1: effect of lekhan basti and anuvasan basti in sthaulya: patient wiil given lekhan basti as niruha basti and anuvasan basti with triphladi taila according to yoga basti schedule for 8 day

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Age- 15-60 yr. 2 Both male and female. 3 Patients with BMI more than 25. 4 Patient having clinical sign and symptom of Sthaulya. 5 Patient fit for Basti procedure.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Age below 15 and above 60 yr. 2 Patient unfit for Basti. 3 Pregnant and lactating mother. 4 Any systemic disorder which may interfere in the course of treatment

Subjective Criteria- The main sign and symptom of Sthaulya described in Ayurveda are subjective in nature and percentage relief will be taken to assess the efficacy of therapy. Objective Criteria- 1 Body weight 2 BMI (Quetletâ??s Index)15 3 Skin fold thickness 4 Waist circumference 5 Mid Arm Circumference 6 Mid Thigh Circumference 7 Waist Hip ratio Timepoint: just after intervention of ayurveda and shatkarma(shankha prakshalan, kunjal) and oral medication in sthaulya
