Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the efficacy of USG guided anterior serratus plane block(ASPB) with serratus intercostal plane block(SIPB) on post operative pain in patients undergoing modified radical mastectomy.Timepoint: Numerical pain rating score (0 to 10, no pain-0,worst pain-10)at 4,8,16,20,24 houras post operatively at rest and on movement. NRS daily until discharge weekly once for 1 month, monthly once till 3 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the duration of analgesia and post operative analgesic consumption in the anterior serratus plane block(ASPB) with serratus intercostal plane block(SIPB) after modified radical mastectomy To compare the dermatomal spread achieved/sensory mapping done in anterior serratus plane block(ASPB) with serratus intercostal plane block(SIPB) after administration of block.Timepoint: Time at which first analgesic requirement and Numerical pain rating score(NRS) NRS every 15min till 1 hour Total morphine consumption in first 24 hours
