Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of both genders with age between 40 -65 years 2. Medically diagnosed patients of unilateral adhesive capsulitis 3. Patients reporting gradual onset and progressive worsening of pain (Visual Analog scale score ranging in between 3 - 8) and stiffness at shoulder at least from 3 month duration 4. Patients having at least 50 percent of passive ROM of gleno-humeral joint following capsular pattern 5. Presence of active / latent myofascial trigger points on palpation in at least 3 of the following muscles- Pectoralis major, infraspinatus, supraspinatus ,upper trapezius, middle deltoid.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients having history of trauma, surgery or fracture of affected shoulder 2. Shoulder joint instability or dislocation 3. Systemic illness like rheumatoid arthritis, Reiterâ??s syndrome 4. Osteoarthritis of the affected shoulder joint. 5. Shoulder pain of cervical origin 6. Patients with neurological diseases or other severe medical or psychiatric disorders
