Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with chronic kidney disease stages 3, 4 and 5. 2. Age greater than 18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Significant valvular disease due to rheumatic heart disease, mitral valve prolapse, sclerotic aortic valve disease 2. Presence of Atrial fibrillation or flutter 3. Congenital heart disease 4. Pericardial disease causing significant pericardial effusion with or without tamponade or chronic constrictive pericarditis 5. Pregnant patients 6. Deep vein thrombosis 7. Poor window for Echocardiography 8. Seriously ill patients and patients unable to lie down comfortable for the duration of the study 9. Patients in whom BP cuffs cannot be tied for any reason like absence of an arm, cellulitis/thrombosis of arm(s), severe pain during BP cuff inflation 10. Patients unwilling to participate for any reason
