Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Females and males of age 18 to 70 year with clinically suspected malaria on treatment with antimalarials and/or uncomplicated symptomatic malaria (proven) as indicated by the presence of blood smears positive for Plasmodium vivax malaria Willing to provide written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with Plasmodium falciparum and mixed infection
