Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients scheduled to undergo elective MSICS, above the age of 40 years, who give informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Complicated cataract 2. Presence of corneal opacities 3. Any eye not dilating to at least 6 mm preoperatively 4. Patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the component medications used for anaesthesia
