Health Condition 1: L853- Xerosis cutis

Interventions

Intervention1: Cashew shell oil cream: Patients are advised to apply the product to cleansed feet twice a day for 4 weeks. Duration of intervention is 30 days. Follow up after one month for 2 months.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Volunteer having visible cracks on one or both feet. Volunteer is in good physical health as determined by the Investigator/physician.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Volunteers with Skin infections over feet, widespread active infected dermatitis or dermatitis on test area Allergies to cosmetics, moisturizing agents or other skin treatment products. Those who are willing to continue any personal foot care products during study, Those with occupation that require the feet to be dipped/soaked in water or detergent for long hours (housekeeping/washer man, etc.), Those with history or presence of Diabetes, with history of skin cancer or treatment for any type of cancer within last 2 years.

Primary outcomes are as follows Hydration, TEWL, Skin video scope assessed using Dermalab ComboTimepoint: 90 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Skin high res. Ultrasound Sebum Skin melanin and erythema Skin pH Temperature Elasticity are assessed using Dermalab ComboTimepoint: 90 days
