Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) All adult patients presenting with the clinical diagnosis of cholecystitis and cholelithiasis of either sex. 2) All patients willing to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients already planned for open cholecystectomy 2) Patients on drugs which alter the CRP levels 3) Patients with- -BMI more than 30kg/m2 -HIV positive patients -Autoimmune conditions (like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, inflammatory bowel disease) -Inflammatory conditions (like pericarditis) -Gallbladder or other GIT cancer -Breast cancer
