Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Hospitalized patients with acute stroke presented within 7 days of event with hyperglycemia (Blood glucose > 140 mg/dL).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Age 2. Pregnancy 3. Chronic liver or kidney disease 4. Patients on corticosteroids 5. RBS > 400mg/dL 6. Patients with Diabetic ketoacidosis 7. Not giving consent
