Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The details given are for the Neonate samples. We will also be collecting samples from healthy adult individuals.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with Anemia and Polycythemia will be excluded.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
After completion of the study, we will be able to develop and fine-tune a computer algorithm to analyze bilirubin in whole blood, especially that of neonates. This algorithm will go into a point of care device we are developing and help diagnose Jaundice more effectively.Timepoint: The measurements will be made and recorded within 24 hrs of sample withdrawal from the body. No results about measurements will be delivered to the volunteers after the samples are measured. The results will be recorded and used by the researchers to develop their device.
