Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Newly diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) based on DSM -5 criteria. 2.Both parents available for evaluation of Broad Autism Phenotype.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Parents with diagnosed mental disorders (including ASD), visual or hearing impairment. 2.Parents on drugs that can affect their behaviours. 3.Children with diagnosed genetic syndromes (e.g. Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, Fragile X, Cornelia de Lange, Down, Angelman, Coffin-Lowry, Cohen Laurence-Moon-Biedel, Marinesco-Sjogren, Moebius, Rett and Williams syndromes.)
