Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Critically ill patients admitted to ICU AGE LIMIT: 18 years and above
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with documented hypomagnesemia / hypermagnesemia before admission to ICU -Patients with previous magnesium supplementation -Mortality within 24 hours of admission to ICU -Critically ill patients in ICU in whom day 1 of serum magnesium testing is missed .
