Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA physical status I and II 2. Patients undergoing inguinal surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Refusal of parent or guardian 2. ASA physical status III and above 3. Known hypersensitivity to the study drugs 4. Difficult intravenous access 5. Any developmental delay or neuropsychiatric illness

Incidence of emergence delirium in post operative period using Paediatric anaesthesia emergence delirium (PAED) scaleTimepoint: 0 minutes, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Intraoperative hemodynamic stability by heart rate , systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, mean arterial pressure. 2. Incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting in postoperative period. 3. Time of discharge from postoperative care unit.Timepoint: 1.Every 5 minutes intraoperatively.
