Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Mothers of infants weighing less than or equal to 1500gm at birth and gestational age less than or equal to 32 weeks Mothers who have a working knowledge of Tamil or English

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Mothers of babies who have known post partum depression or psychosis. Mothers of infants with major congenital abnormalities. 3) Mothers who did not consent for the study.
