Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing laparotomy for perforation peritonitis in emergency settings by midline incision

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of previous midline laparotomy

PRIMARY OUTCOME -Incidence of wound dehiscence (Post-operative separation of musculo-aponeurotic layers of abdominal wall within 10 days of surgery).Timepoint: Patient will be assessed during postoperative period till discharge, and subsequent follow up at 2weeks and 1month of procedure
