Inclusion criteria: All patients with age 18-60 years undergoing elective craniotomies for excision of brain tumor in JIPMER, belonging to ASA class 1-2, planned for general anaesthesia will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Brain trauma 2.Previous Stroke/Myocardial Infarction 3.Psychiatric illness 4.Uncontrolled systemic illnesses like: uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus(DM) , uncontrolled Hypertension(HTN) , Chronic Kidney Disease(CKD)

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To assess whether ultrasonographic, pulse oximetry and arterial line derived hemodynamic parameters for predicting patients who are prone for developing post-induction hypotension, among the patients undergoing craniotomy for excision of brain tumor.Timepoint: Duration in minutes. 1.Cardiac Output, Stroke Volume, Stroke Volume Variation, Cardiac Index, Perfusion Index, Plethysmography Variability Index, Pulse Pressure variation -these recordings will be noted before induction of anaesthesia and every 1 minute post-induction. 2. dIVCmax, dIVCmin, Collapsibility Index will be noted before Induction of anaesthesia and within 15 minutes post induction.
