Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: i.Permanent dentition ii. Angles Class I type 2 or Class II div 1 requiring extraction of first premolar iii. Symmetrical upper and lower arches iiii. Compliant patient

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: i. Past History of any orthodontic treatment ii. Periodontally compromised dentition iii. Skeletal deformities and facial asymmetry iiii. Severe upper and lower crowding v. Medically compromised and syndromic patients
