Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: As evaluated by Russelâ??s periodontal index scoring, subjects diagnosed with gingivitis and periodontitis are included. Subjects who have not receive any periodontal treatment from past 6 months. Subjects having atleast 15 natural teeth remaining.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects who have other systemic diseases. Subjects having a history of smoking. Subjects suffering from Aggressive periodontitis. Pregnant and lactating women. Mentally challenged and un-cooperative patients.
