Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.ASA Physical status I or II parturients in active lobour with cervical dilatation of more than 3 cm. 2. Having full term live fetus without any obstetric complications. 3. Requesting epidural anagesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Body Mass index > 30. 2. Parturient Height 3. Age 4. Anticipated difficult intubation. 5. Any contraindication for epidural catheter placement. 6. Sensitivity to study drug. 7. Administration of IV analgesics within 1 hour epidural request.
