Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Living spouse 2. Living together and eating in the same household 3. The male of the couple is engaged in spraying/ selling/ otherwise handling pesticide and the female counterpart is engaged only in household work.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Known neurological disease 2. On treatment with cholinergic or anti-cholinergic drugs 3. Already known cases of pemphigus 4. First or second degree relative of each other before marriage 5. Handling or storing pesticides in the living area of home which might lead to exposure of pesticides to the spouse as well 6. Using protective equipment as per standardized recommendations while handling pesticides, thereby leading to negligible exposure to pesticides.
