Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Cases are those diagnosed to have allergic conjunctivitis in the age group of 5 to 25 years . 2. Controls are age and sex matched individuals who come for routine check up of refractive error assessment , without any symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with any ocular infection , or any other ocular disease other than allergic conjunctivitis 2. Patients with epithelial defects or ocular trauma. 3. Patients on eye drops in the past two weeks. 4. Patients not willing to participate.
