Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Participants aged 20â??45 years 2 Possessing minimum of twenty natural permanent teeth 3 Should have been diagnosed with mild to moderate chronic gingivitis 4 Patient willing to offer informed consent and comply with research protocol

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Participants with a known history of allergy to any chemical or herbal products used in this study. 2 Individuals with history of use of antibiotics or any other drugs within the last 3months. 3 Pregnant women and lactating mothers 4 Medically compromised patients 5 Participants with deleterious habits such as smoking, pan chewing 6 Patients who had periodontal pockets in excess of 6 mm 7 Participants with removable or fixed appliances
