Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: age-3 years to 18 years serum ferritin level-1000 to 5000mg/dl

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pt Pt >18years Renal failure Cataract Ototoxicity HIV positive/ Hepatitis B positive/Hepatitis C positive Av block or pt with cardiac arrathymias Severe allergy to the drugs Pt with other associated congenital malfirmations

To measure consecutive serum ferritin level in patient with β Thalassemia major every 2 month with ongoing dosage of iron chelators in both study group A & B admitted in Paediatric ward sir T hospital Bhavnagar,GujaratTimepoint: 2 month
