Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age more than 18 years Dengue ns1 or IgM positive

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: concomitant other acute fever- malaria, rickettsial, leptospirosis,typhoid Patient with chronic liver disease. Hepatotoxic drugs History of alcohol intake

To study the effect of dengue virus on liver functionTimepoint: To study the effect of dengue virus on liver function at the time of admission

Grade the liver dysfunction in dengue based on AST and ALTTimepoint: liver function test will be collected at the time of admission
