Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Adult males and females, with reduced Hemoglobin levels(less than or equal to 10g/dl) with Microcytic hypochromic anaemia in Peripheral blood smear AND/OR Serum ferritin levels below less than 50 mcg/L

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Renal Failure 2.Chronic Liver disease 3.Cardiac failure 4.Pregnancy 5.Concomitant malignancy 6.Hemolytic anaemia 7.Chronic Inflammatory Diseases 8.Severe Anemia requiring a blood transfusion
