Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient with breast cancer requiring adjuvant external beam radiotherapy following surgery with either modified radical mastectomy or breast conservation surgery. 2.Able to comprehend, and follow the instructions that are required to execute a DIBH treatment 3.Provides a voluntary informed consent to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pre-existing lung or heart pathology that prevents the patient from adequately holding her breath in inspiration for reasonable time required (around 20 seconds) to execute DIBH. 2.Metastatic disease at presentation. 3.Prior radiotherapy for breast cancers or other cancers of the thoracic region.
