Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 40 consecutive adult patients of idiopathic trigeminal neuralgia resistant to pharmacological treatment will be included

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Allergy to local anesthetics or steroids, infection, coagulopathy, and pregnancy.

Patients will be asked to rate their 24-hour global pain experience including severity, duration, frequency of the episodes, and to report it as a percentage of global pain reliefTimepoint: at 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 month and 3 months after procedure
