Intervention1: IV and/or ORAL STEROIDS: Inj Methylprednisolone 500mg IV OD for 3 days followed by oral prednisolone 1mg/kg/day for 6 weeks to be tapered over next 6 weeks

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Biopsy proven cases of IRGN with renal dysfunction (serum creatinine >2mg/dl) persisting for more than 2 weeks; no contradiction to medicine used in the trial; willingness to take part in study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Evidence of secondary GN ; Crescentic GN with more than 50% crescents; patients with untreated active infections; HBV, HCV and HIV infected patients
