Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients within the age group of 14-28 year. Excessive gingival display on smiling. Patients with deep overbite of more than 4mm. Patients should have a healthy gingival and periodontal status. Root formation of all maxillary permanent incisors should be completed. Healthy individuals devoid of any systemic diseases. Crowding should be relieved in the maxillary incisors segment before the placement of mini implants.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The teeth to be intruded should have no apical root resorption prior to orthodontic treatment. The teeth to be intruded should have no history of trauma. Immunocompromised patients. Patients with any medical history of bone disease. Patients with a history of bleeding disorders. History of avulsion or replantation.
