Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients more than 18 years of age 2. Patients presenting to Department of Respiratory Medicine with moderate to severe asthma or ACO on continuous inhaler corticosteroid (mono or combination) therapy as cases and similarly diagnosed patients who are yet to be initiated on therapy as controls 3. Patients who give informed and written consent for the study and photography
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients on systemic sterid therapy or intermittent inhalational corticosteroid therapy 2. Patients with acute exacerbation of asthma or associated some other lung pathology 3. Patients with prior history of laryngeal pathology or surgery 4. Patients with thyroid disorder 5. Patients who are diabetic, retro-viral positive or cancer chemotherapy who are at risk of oppurtunistic infections like candidiasis 6.Pregnant women 7.Patiets with diagnosis of COPD alone
