Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age group between 18 to 70 years 2. All patients with age 18 years or more recieving mechanical ventilation for a minimum of 48 hours
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease 2.Asthma 3.Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome on admission 4.Duration of mechanical ventilation of less than 48 hrs 5.patients already diagnosed with pneumonia 6.patients who cannot be turned lateral 7.patients/relatives unwilling to participate
