Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with cardiovascular diseases and who were taking Calcium channel blockers for atleast 3 months Presence of atleast 20 permanent teeth with a minimum of 10 anterior teeth.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients having any other systemic diseases other than cardiovascular conditions Patients on any other drug casuing gingival overgrowth or a combination of calcium channel blockers Patients who have undergone periodontal therapy in last six months Patients on any other medications in past 6 months
