Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All the consenting members from the selected villages would be recruited for the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Individuals with illnesses where iron supplementation is contraindicated (such as known cases of hemoglobinopathies or history of repeated blood transfusions) and very sick people who require immediate referral would be excluded.
