Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: As per clinical signs and symptoms of Ekakushtha described in classical Ayurvedic text and modern medical view.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Vamana and Virechana Ayogya as per classical text will be excluded for study. Patients suffering from severe systemic illnesses like uncontrolled diabetes mellitus,uncontrolled hypertension,tuberculosis,carcinoma etc will also be excluded.

Psoriasis Area & Severity Index (PASI) score Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) QuestionnaireTimepoint: Patient will be assessed before the treatment,after Vamana Karma (group B),after Virechana Karma (both group) and after the completion of IPD treatment.The patient will also be assessed every 2 weeks up to 4 weeks in OPD during follow up period.
