Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Depressed mood 2. Reduced level of interest and enjoyment 3. Reduced level of self esteem and self confidence 4. Reduced energy leading to fatiguability and diminished activity 5. Thoughts of extreme guilt 6. Diminished ability to think and concentrate 7. Bleak and pessimistic views of the future 8. Insomnia or hypersomnia 9. Diminished apetite 10. Considerable weight loss or weight gain

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Hypertension and cardiac diseases 2. Malignancy 3. Alcoholic and other drug abuse 4. Patients with any other serious illness 5. Patients with sucidal tendency 6. Patients taking Anti depressant drugs 7. Pregnancy and lactation
