Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) ASA physical status 1 or 2 2) Children in whom rapid sequence induction is planned and indicated (those with full stomach such as intestinal obstruction) 3) Children with preoperative SpO2 of greater than 95% on room air

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Children with anticipated difficult airway 2) Children with haemodynamic instability 3) Children with dyshaemoglobinemias
