Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All elective patients undergoing thoracic procedures broadly involving broncho-pulmonary, mediastinal, chestwall, pleural based pathologies by either open or minimally invasive approach (VATS) at our centre. 2. Patient age group between 16-65 years. 3. All patients who give consent for participation in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients unfit for general anaesthesia. 2. Emergency/Semi emergency thoracic surgeries. 3. Oesophageal surgeries. 4. Diaphragmatic surgeries.

1. To study the postoperative morbidity (30 day morbidity, graded according to Clavein-Dindo system) after application of ERAS protocol in patients undergoing elective general thoracic surgery. 2. To study the postoperative length of hospital stay for patients undergoing general thoracic surgeries after application of ERAS protocol. 3. To study the 30 day readmission rates for patients undergoing general thoracic surgeries after application of ERAS protocolTimepoint: 1.
